Director Alain Vidal made CPWF’s message clear at Stockholm World Water Week when he presented during a session Monday entitled “The Role of Water and Sanitation in Enhancing Resilience and Food Security.”¬†Addressing a diverse audience representing organizations from the agricultural and sanitation water sectors, Dr. Vidal emphasized the fact that CPWF research shows the capacity to achieve global food security is not restricted by water availability. Achieving food security is, in almost all cases, a political and institutional challenge.
